First concert in Ron's own country, so not really a citytrip, but I will tell you something about our experience and the nice hospitality we enjoyed in the Arena.
Amsterdam is only a one hour drive for us so we didn't leave too early. First we picked up some friends of ours who had Gold Standing tickets and on we went. Lots of food trucks and small bars with Stones parties were surrounding the Arena. The atmosphere was great. Our friends went to their entrance and we queued up for pit. Entering the stadium was easy so we went to the hospitality area. Wow great service: pizza, french fries, cocktails... You name it!
Then off to the pit, which had always been easy in our first two shows in Germany. Here it was total chaos. You weren't allowed in Ronnie pit, so we had to walk through to Keith pit, which was overcrowded. So not a good place to take photos, but we weren't allowed to go back to Ronnie pit. You could leave to go to the toilet, but couldn't get round, so right before the support act hit the stage we sneaked through gold standing into Ronnie pit. What a hassle, people were almost fighting and security couldn't control the crowd. So we were happy we made it to a good place at the front.
